The ShareSpace Foundation Chose CCI…
CCI had the opportunity to “share” in the launching of the July 2015 kick-off fundraiser for retired astronaut Buzz Aldrin’s ShareSpace Foundation and celebration of the Anniversary of Apollo 11.
The Gala was held at the Kennedy Space Center’s Apollo/Saturn V Center, beneath the capsule, and was hosted by actor John Travolta with co-host actor Seth Green.
CCI provided much of the AV support for the event, including teleprompters and projectors. We then recorded the event which took place in two separate areas, and produced a promotional video in addition to some pre-recording in our studios with Mr. Aldrin.
The production also involved a candid discussion in the Lunar Theatre between John Travolta and Buzz Aldrin with Seth Green as moderator. They shared stories, movie clips and showed off their individual dancing abilities while involving the audience. One lucky woman in the audience received an Uma Thurman look-alike haircut by Buzz and John. All of this was caught on camera and recorded by CCI.

We also used segments of the recordings chosen by the Port to create shorter promotional videos for their social media outlets.CY Port Canaveral Chose CCI

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Chose CCI…
When the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and NASA wanted to produce a series of web videos, they called on CCI to handle the production.
What makes these stories unique is they would be told by the behind the scene workers from the Space Program.
KSC-webCCI worked with KSC VC to identify potential stories and to locate and contact the story tellers.
Each episode delivers a compelling account of an event by revealing the back story of various moments in space history at KSC and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station as told by the people that made it happen. Each episode includes excerpts of an interview with a KSC space legend with historic footage music and graphics.
CCI coordinated the entire production process from research, phone interviews, scheduling each storyteller to have their story recorded, production crew made up of interviewer, camera operator and hair and make-up artist, studio and green room facilities for interview and NASA oversight during interview, post-production facilities and editing personnel. CCI shot all the interviews on their studios in Cape Canaveral on Green Screen to allow the background to be changed to fit each story and so these interviews could be used for additional applications at a later date.
Finding photos and video footage to support the stories was also managed by CCI including archive footage acquisition, transfer, media return and maintaining logs of all footage. CCI also provided transcription of each episode of the series for NASA review.
CCI is particularly proud for the art direction, design and production of all graphics for the series. This work included designing and producing a logo for use on each episode, in print and for embroidery on shirts. The show open and program graphics package created a unique branding that tied each episode of Untold Stories together as a series with an immediately identifiable look and feel.
This entertaining series creates interest in Space and the Space “Untold Stories from The Rocket Ranch” can be seen on Kennedy Space Center’s You Tube Channel.
The City of Melbourne Chose CCI…
The City of Melbourne wanted to air their city council meetings on the Space Coast Government TV (SCGTV) channel. In order to accomplish that CCI was asked to help the city of Melbourne. These events are multi-camera “live-to-DVD” productions produced with a CCI “Fly Pack” production system. CCI is at every Melbourne City Council Meeting with cameras and crew to capture the meeting. After the meeting CCI makes 2 DVD copies of the meeting, one goes to SCGTV and the other stays at the city for their records.City-of-Melbourne
CCI started producing the Melbourne City Council Meetings in 2006 and will continue for the next few years.
AAR Corp Chose CCI…
AAR wanted to inform and train employees on Smart Spending. AAR came to CCI and we developed a computer based training course (CBT). The course would offer suggestions and educate employees who make purchasing decisions on how to get better prices from vendors. The course would have a test at the end and ask each course taker to submit a savings idea.
So, when AAR Corporation needed to have employees trained in Hazardous Communications, they came back to CCI to create another CBT. This course would take about 40 minutes to take and would inform the course taker of new safety information. At the end they would be given a test.
In each course, CCI provided at least 2-voice over talent to read over each slide of the test.
In each test, at the end the employees would receive credit for taking the test, and management would get a list of who took the course and how each person scored.
The CBT courses proved to be a successful way for AAR to reach a large number of employees without taking them off of their day to day jobs.
