Carnival Cruise Line – Video News Release (VNR) Production
Carnival Cruise Line, one of the world’s largest cruise operators, was preparing for the highly anticipated arrival of the Mardi Gras — the largest ship in the Carnival fleet and the first LNG‑powered cruise ship based in North America.
Project Goal
Carnival needed a Video News Release (VNR) produced in real time as the Mardi Gras arrived at Port Canaveral. The VNR would be distributed to media outlets and used across Carnival’s communication channels. The challenge: Carnival would deliver all footage the morning of the ship’s arrival, and the final VNR needed to be completed within hours

Our Solution
CCI provided rapid‑response post‑production support, assembling a complete VNR in under two hours. Our team worked with:
- Footage captured by Carnival’s onboard media team
- Drone footage of the Mardi Gras arrival
- Interviews with Carnival officials
- An outline provided by Carnival the same morning
CCI’s editors quickly organized, cut, and polished the footage into a cohesive, broadcast‑ready VNR that highlighted the ship’s arrival, its innovative LNG technology, and its significance to Port Canaveral.

Results
- Completed VNR delivered back to Carnival in less than 2 hours
- High‑quality, media‑ready content distributed the same day
- Successful coverage of a major milestone for Carnival Cruise Line
- Strengthened CCI’s reputation for fast, reliable, broadcast‑level post‑production
Why This Project Matters
The Mardi Gras arrival was a major event for the cruise industry and for Port Canaveral. Carnival trusted CCI to deliver under tight deadlines — and our team responded with speed, accuracy, and professional polish.
