In business some things just never stop. Some tasks may seem like they are never ending and some feel like they ended just as they got started. CCI founder and president Jim Lewis talks about the personality differences when it comes to finishing tasks in business. Are you someone who prefers to start a task, work it and then finish? Or do you go on to other tasks before it is finished. Ultimately, these opening and closing loops need to continue so that your business keeps rolling and stays profitable.

Jim has some suggestions on how to manage the open loop, close loop challenge such as:

  • Make a list of milestones that you must meet each day – make it a priority to complete these task by the end of your day
  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help – You can’t always do everything by yourself
  • Is there information available on how this issue has been solved by others – make sure you do your homework so you don’t have to keep reinventing the wheel

The CEO of Stonyfield Farm, the world’s leading organic yogurt producer says, ”If you think that it stops, then this is not the direction for you. You signed up for the wrong career.”
